So school starts back tomorrow!!!  Not as long of a break as I thought! Oh well, sooner I start again the sooner I'm done. I have not accomplished all I had wanted to on break but I won't let it get me down.

I had the priviledge of taking Sadie for her 4 year check up today. She was given an A+ in all areas!!! We celebrated with a trip to the Museum of Natural History.  Then to her house for some more fun. She got a goody box from her Aunt Dona and she enjoyed looking at all the clothes, hair bows, etc.

She said "I love Aunt Dona"!    Enjoy the pictures!

Our little ballerina!!! She is taking lessons at Sun Country and we got to observe this past Monday.
She was so cute!!!

At least I'm getting more frequent!!! It's only been a year. So much has changed. I won't even try to go into it. I am not working, and going to school. I will start in the Coding/Billing Program at Santa Fe College next semester. I went to orientation Wednesday and it will be hard but I can do it.

I am once again starting to run. It's been about 6 months and the last time I didn't do it very long. But I weighed and that was it. I refuse to get bigger. So I'm watching my diet, but eating healthy and enough, and walking. I will start back runnning after I've walked 30 minutes, 3 times week for 2-3 weeks then I will slowly add running.

My wonderful granddaughter Sadie is the light of my life. She is smart, pretty, fun, silly, kind, loving and best of all mine! Her parents are well, Adam continues to work hard at ABC and is commuting to Ocala. Sarah is working at Shands ast an EEG tech. She had her evaluation and was given a full time position!  Yea Sarah. I'm so proud of them both.

Tommy continues to work hard with Gatorland Pavers. Business it good but fluctuates. He has fished some and gone scallopping.

Well - Guess that's it until next year!!!

OK so two years later!!

Very long time no post - much has changed - much is the same - Sadie is three now and such a joy. I have been through so much in the last two years - too much to write. Just leave it at that. I have not run in two years but am trying to get motivated to start. I need to - I loved it so much and it was good for me.

I have posted a copy of a birthday card I have made - I took the picture too! I had quit using Shutterfly for so long but am glad to be back to it. I need to make Sadie's year two book! And start saving for book 3. Don't want to not fulfill that wish to do a book a year of her. I would like to do some type of holiday card as well to mail out.

Well - will close for now but will try to write more and more often! And post pictures.

Long Time No Blog

So I have no excuse except I've been busy??? Anyway I've been running, not has much as I should but definantly a lot for me! I got sick for about 6 wks after the March run so I had to restart my training but I have done well since. It has been so hot since May my milage is down for each run but I just keep going. The humidity is what kills me. I have lost about 30 lbs so far. I have almost run 100 miles since I started using my Nike+ in February. I think if you added up all the running (not associated with chasing kids or boys!) I've done in the other 40+ years of my life it would not add up to 100 miles!

I have two runs scheduled, Race for the Taste 10k at Epcot on Oct 11 and Tower of Terror 13k on Oct 24, a night race (my 50th birthday). Sarah and Adam are going to run the 5k at the Tower of Terror and Laura is going to run the 13k. Munch will do the kids run. I am soooooo excited. I am going to have a glow in the dark sash made that says it my 50th! I also submitted a story to disney about it being my 50th birthday that night.

I have been enjoying watching Sadie grow. She is such a joy and such much like her mother when she was a baby. She is very smart and has a great personality. She turned a year on July 7th and her parents gave her a great 1st birthday party on the July 4th. She seemed to enjoy it so much. She loves books, swimming, playing, eating, and her parents.

Well, enough for now. I'll try to blog sooner than 5 months. Wish me cool weather, stamina and fleet feet!
